Here at drunkensaints, we don't tend to give beer much of a look-in. A bit of whisky can warm an evening and a smoky cocktail. This is the stuff of an everlasting winter. But sometimes just a good pint can be oh so delicious.
Beer in what seems like month 4 of winter still requires robust flavour. We're tending towards pale ales. Two beer experiences we can't forget:
Einstock Icelandic Pale Ale -this matched perfectly with Swedish meatballs, new potatoes, beetroot salad.

Remorseless IPA - a rich, bitter, robust IPA. They say it's American style. We say, that's true. The flavour takes us back to good old California beer festivals, local Cali breweries, Gordon Biersh. Yeah.
